Dermaplaning
Unveil Your Most Beautiful Skin
Everyone wants a face that can light up the room, but the hassles of everyday life can often leave skin dry and lifeless so what’s the secret to always having that perfect glow?

Dermaplaning is a cosmetic treatment that is specially designed to address and improve most skin problems in the facial area. It is a simple and safe technique that gently removes the outer layer of dead skin cells on the surface of your face to enhance your natural beauty and leave you with a fresh, healthy glow. Dermaplaning is a great solution on its own or can partner well with other hydrating facials, chemical peels, or rejuvenating laser treatments for an even bigger refresh.
WHAT IS Dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is a procedure where a practitioner manually exfoliates the top layer of dead skin and peach fuzz (vellus hair) off your face revealing soft, smooth skin.
HOW IT WORKS
The practitioner uses a specially designed scalpel to gently scrape away dead skin cells and fine vellus hair which can dull the complexion.
BENEFITS
Dermaplaning can reduce the appearance of light surface wrinkling, smooth acne scarring, improve skin texture, correct uneven skin tone, help unblock blackheads, reduce the appearance of enlarged pores, and even promote the growth of new healthy skin cells.
RESULTS
The outcome is bright, healthy skin, that looks and feels softer and smoother.

This treatment is recommended for all skin types except for those with active acne breakouts

Not to be Confused With Dermabrasion
Dermabrasion is a medical technique in which the skin is abraded down to the dermis using a whisk-like device. There are many complications associated with dermabrasion, including infections and scarring, which is why it is not commonly used anymore. Dermaplaning, on the other hand, is a mere shaving of the skin and is a safe, easy, quick and effective procedure with few to no adverse effects.
What To Expect Post-Treatment.
There is no downtime, You may resume regular daily activities immediately.
Dermaplaning may be performed as often as every two weeks, however, it’s most commonly done once per month. Dermaplaning removes about 21 days worth of dead skin cells, so it is best to allow the skin to complete its natural revival cycle before your next treatment.
If you undergo Dermaplaning along with an exfoliating peel, you can expect mild redness and slight peeling of the skin for the next couple of days post-treatment.
